Her formal training
Her interest in painting has always existed and is at the age of eleven years when she takes a brush for the first time in her hands.
Gloria Rincon began her formal training in the visual arts in her homeland Durango, Mexico at the age of sixteen. It was at the Universidad Juarez, Escuela de Pintura, Escultura y Artesanias where she had her first formal education in arts. After that she continued her artistic formation in the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de México, in the Escuela Nacional de Arte. Since then and to this date always she\'s having workshops and refresher courses.
Her professional career
When she was twenty, very young woman began his career as a professional painter and has her first exhibition and her first recognition in 1976. Counting to date with 57 collective exhibitions and 15 individual exhibitions in various showrooms of the Mexican Republic, the U.S.A. and Europe.
Each of the individual exhibitions has always been known for presenting from twenty-five to forty unpublished works.

Gloria Rincon\'s work is found in various countries from Latin America and Europe. In private collections, collections Clubs, Public buildings, Schools, Academic Institutes, and Museum’s collections.
In May 2013 diptych painting (2x100x150 cm) entitled Living Water, became the property of UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education, finding currently placed in one of the walls of that institution building in Delft, Netherlands.
Gloria Rincon\'s paintings have been included in the covers and interiors of books of poetry, magazine covers, interiors of cultural books and on CD art covers.
